Mastering the process of active spectatorship is crucial for gaining film literacy. Additionally, engaging in active watching and shared film viewing experiences is beneficial for emotional and communication skills, as well as critical thinking.
In this workshop, Visual Thinking Strategies is introduced as one example of methods for strengthening the process of active and participative watching. We will go through the method step by step and explore how it can be implemented in film education in practice.
