TALLINN INDUSTRY ACADEMY
Tallinn Industry Academy, a programme for emerging professionals in the field of film circulation, has its roots at Locarno Film Festival since 2014. In 2024 the event expaneded to Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event.

BREAKING INTO THE INDUSTRY
Breaking Into the Industry: Mentorship Program for Aspiring Producers is a unique initiative tailored for Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event, guided by the distinguished industry veteran Katriel Schory. The programme blends plenary sessions, one-on-one mentorship, and interactive industry events to cover various aspects of being a creative producer, from sourcing compelling stories to mastering the development process and refining leadership strategies.

GENERATIVE AI ATELIER
The second edition of the Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event Generative AI Atelier 2025-2026 offers you the latest trends, hottest insights, and practical skills to understand, master, and implement AI in the film industry. With personalized learning experiences guided by some of the best experts and globally acclaimed mentors from Europe and beyond, this Atelier is your gateway to the future of filmmaking.

WORKS IN PROGRESS
Our Works in Progress presents three showcases: Just Film Works in Progress (children and youth film projects), Baltic Event Works in Progress (Baltic and Finnish projects), International Works in Progress.

The submissions will be open 13 August - 15 September 2025.

CLOSED SUBMISSIONS

BALTIC EVENT CO-PRODUCTION MARKET
Since 2005, the Co-Production Market has been a key meeting point for feature films in development seeking co-producers, financiers, and sales agents. Each year, 15 projects are selected, with over 300 pre-arranged meetings connecting filmmakers with industry decision-makers who gather in Tallinn to discover new projects for their slates.

Starting in 2024, the co-production market lineup includes projects specifically aimed at children and youth audiences.

This year’s edition will once again feature the prestigious Eurimages Co-Production Development Award of €20 000 and will continue accepting youth and children’s film projects.

TV BEATS CO-FINANCING MARKET
TV Beats Co-Financing Market is the drama series strand of Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event, taking place annually during the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, presenting 10 fresh series projects. Inviting leading broadcasters, VOD platforms, producers, screenwriters, and other industry professionals, TV Beats is the place to meet and connect with international key players in the drama series industry.

The most promising project of the market will be handed out the Series Co-Production Development Award, worth €50,000.

PÖFF GOES TO CANNES
For the 5th time, the Black Nights Film Festival partnered with the renowned Marché du Film event Goes to Cannes to spotlight exceptional international film projects in post-production. Submit yours for a chance to take the stage and present your work to industry leaders!

EUROPEAN GENRE FORUM
The European Genre Forum (EGF), a six-month training cycle for emerging European genre filmmakers, has opened a call for submissions for 2025. In three talent labs between July and November, the EGF gives fantastic film projects a boost artistically, businesswise and in understanding its audience potential.

DISCOVERY CAMPUS

The Black Nights Discovery Campus welcomes young talents and film professionals to enhance their careers in the industry. During the 5-day extensive programme, the selected participants can upgrade their knowledge in their field, learn new skills, meet inspiring mentors and professionals in the film industry around the world.

The submissions for Discovery Campus 2025 programmes Black Nights Stars for actors and actresses,Frame Within A Frame for cinematographers, Music Meets Film for composers, Script Pool for projects and Black Room for the art department are closed.
