In November 2026, Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event invites you to experience the magic of wintery Tallinn from 13–20 November. Join leading industry professionals, emerging talent, and creative voices from around the world for a week of inspiration, networking, and new opportunities.

Once again, we are excited to open submissions across a wide range of categories, including drama series and feature films at various stages of development. We also warmly welcome applications to our international talent programme, Discovery Campus, alongside a dynamic selection of labs designed to support and empower emerging professionals.

In 2026 Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event celebrates its 25th anniversary and takes place from 9-20 November in a wintery Tallinn. As there are still months to go, we are already opening some submissions. FILM MARKET

PÖFF Goes to Cannes

PÖFF Goes to Cannes spotlights exceptional international film projects in post-production. The selected projects will be presented at Marché du Film in May 2026.

Submissions are open from 29 January until 20 February 2026. Read more here

European Genre Forum

European Genre Forum, pan-european training programme organized by Black Nights Film Festival from Tallinn; Imagine Film Festival from Amsterdam; Fantastic Zagreb Film Festival and film consultancy company Screen Division from Sitges.

Submissions are open from 3 February until 15 March 2026.

LABS

Mastering AI for European Film Professionals

The National Film School of Denmark, Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event, and FilmForward – have united to launch MAIEFP, a nine-month programme designed to equip mid- to senior-level film professionals with strategic, company-wide AI knowledge, leadership skills, and change-management tools.

FILM MARKET

Baltic Event Co-Production

Baltic Event Co-Production market presents feature films in development looking for co-producers, financiers and sales agents. Around 15 projects are selected each year and over 300 pre-arranged meetings held with decision-makers who have made Tallinn their yearly stopover to look for new projects for their slates.

Since 2024, the co-production market lineup includes also projects aimed at children and youth audiences.
Submissions will be open from 1 May until 10 July 2026.

Works in Progress

Works in Progress showcases promising projects currently in production or post-production and seeking sales agents or festival premieres, across three categories: Baltic Event Works in Progress, International Works in Progress, and Just Film Works in Progress.

Submissions will be open from mid August until mid September 2026.

Script Pool

Script Pool, a part of the international educational programme Discovery Campus, highlights five international projects and the team behind them—director, scriptwriter, and producer. The aim is to gather film projects with international potential, high distribution value, a final draft in place, and some financing secured.

Submissions will be open on 1 June until 30 June.

SERIES MARKET

TV Beats Co-Financing Market

TV Beats Co-Financing Market aims to present high-quality drama series projects with international sales and distribution potential. The Co-Financing Market gives the project presenters the opportunity to organise meetings with financiers, partners and broadcasters during the TV Beats, the drama series strand of Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event.

Submissions will be open from 1 May until 14 July 2026.

DISCOVERY CAMPUS

Discovery Campus unites established talent programmes Script Pool project competition), Black Nights Stars, Music Meets Film, Black Room and Frame within a Frame. Bringing together different fields of the film and creative industries, the programme aims to inspire and educate with a hands-on approach with live events, workshops and masterclasses by talented and award-winning film professionals during the Black Nights Film Festival.

Submissions will be open from mid April until 30 June (TBC).

LABS

Breaking Into the Industry

Breaking Into the Industry: Mentorship Program for Aspiring Producers is a unique initiative tailored for Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event, guided by the distinguished industry veteran Katriel Schory.

The submissions will be opened in August.

Tallinn Industry Academy

Created by the Locarno Film Festival in 2014, the Industry Academy is an intensive training programme designed to train and support young film industry professionals working specifically in the area of independent film circulation, including online and traditional distribution, sales, film marketing, exhibition, promotion and festival programming, among others. The Talinn Industry Academy workshops are primarily suited for young professionals working with boutique (small and medium-sized) markets, who are interested in improving their skills and expanding their network of contacts in the fields of sales, marketing, distribution, exhibition, and programming/curating.

The submissions will be opened in August.
