Film Screening: Oceans
Oceans is a 2009 French nature documentary film directed, produced, co-written, and narrated by Jacques Perrin, with Jacques Cluzaud as co-director. The film, produced in association with the Census of Marine Life, explores the marine species of Earth's five oceans and reflects on the negative aspects of human activity on the environment, with Perrin (Pierce Brosnan in English) providing narration.

From Greening to Skills and Beyond: Explore the State of Small European Film Markets with CresCine How are small European film markets faring? Where does the European industry stand in terms of skills, especially in the realm of innovation? What are the enablers and blockers for the industry’s transformation towards greening and sustainability? How can we contribute and learn from data-driven insights in financing and distribution?
The key period of intensive research and experience for Philippe started in 2004 when he was asked to work on the film Oceans, which combined film and digital footage – to supervise the imaging of the project. Oceans, directed by Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud, is a wildlife movie shot over 345 weeks - spread over almost 4 years (the film took nearly 6 years to complete) - utilizing 54 locations worldwide. It involved 8 teams and had a production budget of $ 75M. Philippe was involved from the beginning of the project right up until DCP’s release, 6 years later.

Industry Innovation Forum 2023
Supported by the European Commission and Creative Europe MEDIA, Industry Innovation Forum 2023 returns to Tallinn with a half-day executive-level forum. The first section, Europe and Ukraine's Solidarity in Film & Industry 631 Days Later, looks at the current state and potential trajectory of solidarity initiatives and financial aid for the Ukrainian creative and film industry, including the MEDIA program and European Solidarity Fund for Ukrainian Films. The day’s agenda also includes a case study of interactive Ukrainian-Polish-US co-production Murals inspired by the works of Banksy in Ukraine, financed by the Ukrainian filmmaking fund by the Polish Film Institute. The second part of the forum, The European Entertainment Landscape Redefined+: Exploring Film, Gaming & Industry at the Boom of AI, brings together AI filmmakers, content creators, visionaries, and developers to discuss generative AI's dynamic shifts, creative possibilities, and ethical challenges. The speakers include Christina Caspers Roehmer, Mads Dambo, Caleb & Shelby Ward, and Roope Rainisto.
