The international educational programme Black Nights Discovery Campus welcomes young talents and film professionals to participate in various lectures, masterclasses and events by renowned and awarded professionals during Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event. The programme includes masterclasses by composer William Goldstein, director Andrea Pallaoro, and art director Brunella De Cola.

According to Triin Tramberg, the Manager of Discovery Campus, the program offers a unique opportunity for emerging and also experienced filmmakers to brush up their knowledge, meet mentors and widen their network. "Although some parts of the program are closed only to pre-selected participants, each sub-program has several open events - masterclasses, workshops - where anyone can participate. Directors, screenwriters, actors, composers of film music as well as film artists are welcome," she adds.

The Discover Campus program, which runs 20-23 November, unites four sub-programmes: Music Meets Film, Black Nights Stars, Script Pool and Black Room.

The renowned composer and pianist William Goldstein will be one of the main speakers and performers of Music Meets Film, which is taking place for the 11th time this year, focusing on film music. The highlight of the program will be the composer's unique instant scoring concert at the Arvo Pärt Center on 21 November, where Goldstein will compose the score for Jaan Tootsen's film "Fred Jüssi. The beauty of being" on-site while seeing the film in the concert hall for the first time. Read more about the concert
