Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event has announced a call for projects for TV Beats Co-Financing market, an initiative involving high-quality drama series projects with international sales and distribution potential. Due to some technical difficulties the deadline to submit the projects has been extended to 12 September 2022.
TV Beats Co-Financing market takes place only for a second time. “Last year at the launch of the event, we presented eight outstanding projects from Europe. The first edition was very well received by our guests,” said Marge Liiske, the Head of Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event.
“In 2022, we again look for teams including a producer, a screenwriter and/or a director to attend the call. For the Industry@Tallinn &Baltic Event we will select up to eight projects, looking for different kinds of partnerships, and all the presenters will have the opportunity to organise meetings with financiers, partners and broadcasters,” she added.
The participants can also benefit from mentoring, and networking with producers, financiers, sales agents, development and commissioning partners. In addition, a selection of prizes will be awarded for the best projects in the market.
The applicants are required to fill in online application forms on the submission website, providing all the requested information and documents, on 12 September 2022 at the latest.
In 2021 the international jury of TV Beats Co-Financing market selected Lithuanian dramedy Troll Farm as the most promising project. Also a special prize Hypewriter Award was handed out to Ukraine dramedy Perfect kids on/off.
TV Beats is the drama series strand of Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event, the industry platform of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival inviting leading broadcasters, VOD platforms, producers, screenwriters, and other industry professionals to attend the event.
