Submissions are now open for the Baltic Event Co-Production Market, the largest international co-production market in Northern Europe, held since 2005. Rather than an autumn deadline, projects must be submitted by 15 July 2023.

Since 2002, Baltic Event has showcased over 400 film projects, many of which have reached the silver screens across the globe and enjoyed successful festival runs. We are honoured to have had our projects selected to Cannes, Berlinale, Venice, Karlovy Vary, Warsaw, Cairo, Tribeca, etc. and earn Golden Globe and Oscar nominations.

In 2023, Baltic Event will select up to 18 fiction film projects in development for the Co-Production Market section. Baltic Event Co-Production Market has a long-running partnership with EAVE, selecting one project yearly from the EAVE Producers Workshop, as well as a newer partnership with the Film London Production Financing Market (PFM), where one project travels from Tallinn to PFM.

In 2023 and 2024, producers with their first or second feature film projects will have the opportunity to receive innovative training by EU HORIZON project CresCine, with a strong focus on script and project development, and training on decision making, maximising the chances of success.
