
Yevhen Khvorostianko is a screenwriter and director based in Ukraine. His formal education began with a Degree in Civil Engineering, which he earned from the Prydniprovska Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture (1990–1995). He later transitioned to film studies, completing a Degree in Feature Film Directing at the Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television (Karpenko-Kary) between 1996 and 2001. His work has been recognized with several awards, including the FIPRESCI Prize at the Molodist International Film Festival (Ukraine), the Best Sound Solution at the Prologue Film Festival (Ukraine), and the Award for Preservation of Cinematic Traditions at the Nachalo Film Festival.
