She was instrumental in raising the company's profile to a leading position in quality family entertainment. She has served on the jury or panel of dozens of festivals or forums. Prior to emigrating to Canada, Zhou worked at China Film Group and was trained by Village Roadshow in Australia. She has two masters' degrees and completed a summer course at Harvard.
