Sophie Valais is Deputy Head of the Department for Legal Information at the European Audiovisual Observatory, which she joined in 2014. She oversees EU-funded projects, contributes to legal publications, and helps organise events. A specialist in media, copyright, and IT law, she holds a law degree from the University of Paris-Saclay. Previously, she worked at a Brussels law firm, the French CNC, collective management organisations, and as a Copyright Expert on EU-funded projects.
