The Silesia Film Institution in Katowice is one of the key cultural and cinematic landmarks in Upper Silesia.
We are engaged in a wide range of activities related to cinema, the preservation of film heritage, and the promotion and dissemination of film art, with a particular focus on the region. We operate five arthouse cinemas.
We also manage the Silesian Film Archive (Filmoteka Śląska) — the only regional film archive in Poland — and support film production through the Silesia Film Commission
