Roosa Toivonen has been active in the audiovisual industry for about thirty years. Having graduated from Aalto University with a Master's degree in Film, Roosa has worked as a producer, director and writer in feature films, documentaries and commercials. She was the Managing Director of 21st Century Miracles, a company producing films and film music when living from 2007 to 2017 in Los Angeles. Roosa also has been running the industry event Finnish Film Affair, adjacent to Finland’s biggest film festival, Love & Anarchy. She founded and runs her own yearly festival, dedicated to feel-good films, and was elemental in saving Helsinki's historical art deco Cinema Orion as an arthouse cinema. From 2020, Toivonen worked as Chief Creative Officer of Aurora Studios, as well as fund co-manager and Head of International for the Finnish Impact Film Fund. Now she divides her time between development, production and financing at Nordic Hustle, Good Hand Production and Fireframe Studios & Fund.
