Robert Bohman is a Swedish concept designer and as an entrepreneur Sweden's most known addiction therapist. Robert is renowned for his exceptional ability to turn any ordinary space into a compelling narrative. With a keen eye for style and quality, Robert has filmed all over the world working with prominent clients and directors worldwide, including Johan Renck, Thomas Alfredsson, Stylewar, Stink, Smuggler, B-Reel Films and others, contributing his expertise in conceptual design across commercials, photography, short films and music videos. At the peak of his career in the late 90s, Robert struggled with severe drug addiction, a challenge that remained hidden behind his professional success. Not even surviving an overdose made him stop using cocaine. At the end of his addiction, he lived a life using large amounts of cocaine combined with alcohol 24/7. Eventually, Robert turned his life around and has been sober for over 20 years. Today, he dedicates his life to helping others overcome addiction. In 2018, Robert founded The House, an exclusive treatment center in Stockholm and Östergötland, where he applies his unique blend of conceptual design and therapeutic methods to create spaces that foster recovery. At this year’s PÖFF film festival, Robert will share insights from his personal journey to establishing the House, address the issue of substance abuse in the film industry, and the importance of creating an open dialogue on this critical topic.
