Wolf's Palate

TV Beats Screening Day presents the Lithuanian psychological crime drama A Wolf's Palate which reveals the dark cultural relationships between the inhabitants of a small town.

Laura, an experienced detective, investigates the murder of a young woman whose body was found in a port city. A mysterious tattoo artist becomes her only lead. Meanwhile, in the capital, Stephen Wilkinson meets a beautiful woman named Silvija and they spend a passionate night together. In the morning, Stephen wakes up alone. He begins an intense search for the mysterious woman, which leads him to the port city, where he meets Silvija’s mother, Marija. When she hears that Stephen is looking for Silvija, she calls the police and Stephen is taken to Laura. It turns out that the murdered woman and Silvija are one and the same. The investigation into Silvija’s murder takes a turn. Laura realises that the circumstances of Silvija’s murder hold many more secrets than she first thought.
