TV Beats Screening Day presents the Finnish six-part Elisa Viihde Original series Valhalla Project, directed and produced by Juha Wuolijoki and L.A. and Helsinki-based Snapper Films. Valhalla Project was 1 of 10 dramas selected for the 2024 MIP Drama Showcase.

“Valhalla Project“ is a high-stakes mystery action thriller that explores the concept of parallel dimensions through two different timelines – portraying 1991 Russia alongside present-day Finland to create a compelling drama that involves a missing father, an environmental crisis, and corporate espionage on an international scale.

Climate researcher Alina Railo travels to Finnish Lapland with an international expedition to seek access to a parallel universe with hopes of finding a solution to the climate crisis – a parallel universe initially researched by her Russian scientist father, who disappeared in Lapland over 30 years ago.
