Two of Me
A film about twin filmmakers trying to make a movie about twins.
Twin brother filmmakers Raul and Romet live with an obsession of becoming world famous directors. The seemingly comedic coming of age story is a mixture of memories inspired by real life experiences by the directors.
Twin brother filmmakers Raul and Romet live with an obsession of becoming world famous directors. The seemingly comedic coming of age story is a mixture of memories inspired by real life experiences by the directors.
After constant struggles to prove themselves in film school, the brothers set a goal of secretly directing a highly authentic feature film about twins.
The brothers start crafting a film that depicts their whole life experience from birth till death. An idea that initially seems clear turns out to be much more complicated than expected and takes the brothers' vision of life into question. After Raul falls for a girl at a nightclub, each staged scene becomes more and more complex. Raul and Romet keep arguing about the scenes until the whole production falls apart.
Only after the most difficult film adventure they understand that they don't have to agree on everything, and their greatest strength lies in cooperation.
Director’s note
“Two of Me” is a story about finding oneself - about twins who try to define their own identity through making a film about it. Brothers who have stuck together their whole lives, must start making decisions between brotherhood, love and a destined future while making the film.
Raul Esko (24) is an Estonian filmmaker with a Master's degree in Cinematography from London MetFilm School. He and his twin brother are also known as Eskobros. The brother's break trough work is a heartfelt short documentary Struck by Lightning (2020) which was awarded the Best Short Film in the National Competition of the 2020 edition of PÖFF Shorts. Their latest short – also showcased at Black Nights – was Twin Turbo (2022). Currently, they are developing their first feature Two of Me.

I am one half of the twin director's duo Eskobros. Been filming life since I was 10. When I turned 18, I devoted my life to one goal: to become one of the greatest filmmakers of all times. Aside from creating visual art in various forms I enjoy pretty much every physical activity and train myself to be a ninja. I also really like acting and pretty girls.

Rain Rannu is an Estonian film director, entrepreneur, and investor. Rain has written and directed four feature films including the critically acclaimed start-up comedy Chasing Unicorns (Black Nights FF, 2019). Together with producer Tõnu Hiielaid, Rain is the founder of indie movie production company Tallifornia, helping Estonian filmmakers reach further.

Tõnu Hiielaid is a co-founder and producer of Tallifornia - an indie production company focusing exclusively on author-driven narrative features. Currently, he has produced five features and there are another five at different stages of production.

Based in Tallinn, Kirill is one the producers of Two of Me. While focusing on PR & Communications with his studies, Kirill has produced countless ads and music videos. This is his first full length feature film in production.
