Helen Lõhmus is producer and director. Starting out her career in television but moved to film shortly. She served as producer of Lao-Estonia-France co-production Dearest Sister. The film was nominated for Oscars in 2017. Her documentary directorial debut - Kelly. Someone Else's Dream, premiered in Hot Docs 2024. She is working on a number of drama series, including VON FOCK, in production, BEHIND THE IRON CURTAIN, the Most Promising Project award winner at Black Nights FF 2023.

René Ezra graduated from the National Danish Film School in 2003. He has produced the Oscar nominated short fiction 'Helmer & søn' (Søren Pilmark, 2006) and several critically acclaimed feature films by the directors Tobias Lindholm and Michael Noer: 'R' (Tobias Lindholm, Michael Noer, 2010), winner of the main prize at Göteborg Film Festival, 'A Hijacking' (Tobias Lindholm, 2012), selected for Venice Film Festival, as well as 'Northwest' (Michael Noer, 2013), which won the FIPRESCI at Göteborg Film Festival, 'Key House Mirror' (Michael Noer, 2015) and 'Before the Frost' (Michael Noer, 2019), selected for Toronto.
Being born in Germany and then being moved to Switzerland he survived that minor ‘culture clash’ following his parents’ work migration. He attended the universities of Zurich and Amsterdam and holds a master degree in Film Studies and German Literature. He has a background in theatre and made his way into movies with the feature film DEAD FUCKING LAST, a dramatic comedy about bike messengers, capitalism and friendship which was rated “rad yet racy” by the Neue Zürcher Zeitung. He is based in Zurich and Berlin and is represented by Verlag der Autoren, Frankfurt/Main. He works as a writer and consultant for cinema, series and theatre – both in fictional and documentary formats.
Leana Jalukse (1979) is an Estonian screenwriter and script consultant. Her debut film Mother (2016) premiered internationally in competition at Tribeca, USA, won Best Feature in Kitzbühel, Austria, Best Estonian Feature at Tallinn Black Nights, Estonia, was selected Estonia’s national entry for the Oscars, and was nominated for Best Screenplay at Estonian Film and TV Awards. She is a founding member of the Estonian Screenwriters’ Guild and a member of the Estonian Filmmakers’ Union and the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain.
