Norröna Murders
Adam, a socially anxious detective is thrust into his first case, a double sexual ritual murder on board an isolated ferry. Onboard with a killer on the loose and a police jurisdictional battle, he helps an old secret lover that is accused of the crime, risking to reveal his own life changing secret.
"Norröna Murders" is a Nordic noir series that explores what’s behind the public masks people carry. Young Icelandic police officer Adam is tasked with investigating a brutal double murder aboard the ferry Norröna. The victims, Eva (Danish) and Uwe (German) took part in a rough sexual ritual called “VikingR”. The other two participants in the sexual act, Danish public figure Pernille and Icelandic diplomat become the main suspects making it a tricky investigation and a jurisdictional fight with the Danish Police. What’s more, Adam is Pernille’s old lesbian lover and they share Adam’s secret that he used to be in a female body but is now a transgender man, she begs him to help her and she’ll continue keeping his secret. On board the ferry Adam chases the murderer but also uncovers a web of drug smuggling and human trafficking but is also coerced by a German PI protecting the German’s dark family secret. The web of lies under the surface and deceit are now bound to come to the surface.
