Little Elephant in the Woods
When Ollie (6) and her sister Nim (11) get lost on their way to a family party, Ollie feels responsible for her big sister. They need to arrive on time for their performance, but everything seems to go wrong. Ollie soon learns she doesn’t have to do everything alone and can rely on Nim too.
Olivia (6) lives with her parents and half-sister Nim (11) in a busy city. Nim has Down syndrome and looking after her can sometimes feel like a big responsibility. Nim has always been fascinated by elephants. She calls Olivia "Ollie" since birth, her little elephant she carried around the house. As Ollie grew, their roles slowly reversed, with Ollie taking the lead. The whole family gathers at a campsite to celebrate their grandmother’s birthday. Nim and Ollie are excited to perform "Little Elephant in the Woods" for Grandma. But when Nim panics and runs off to get her forgotten elephant headband, Ollie follows. She catches up to Nim deep in the forest, but they’ve lost their way. After an argument, Ollie tries to return alone but. She gets worried about Nim. Just as she's about to give up, Nim finds her and, in her own imaginative way, takes on the caregiving role. They return together and perform for Grandma, realizing they can take care of each other.
