'Little Bird' is a dark fairy tale about transcending one's circumstances and confronting one's demons. It captures the intensity and wonder of childhood dreams while exploring how innocence fades – and darkness finds its way in.

Scottish writer/director Faye Jackson has used fantasy, horror and sci-fi to explore the darker regions of the human condition in numerous short films and in her feature STRIGOI. Her films have screened at and won awards at countless international festivals including Sitges, Fantastic Fest and the New York Film Festival and have been distributed on DVD and VOD worldwide.

Carley Armstrong is an award-nominated producer and writer from the North East of England, holding a First-Class degree. She is a BAFTA Connect Producer, an RTS-nominated Rising Star, and an alumna of the BFI Creative Producer Lab and NFTS Feature Film Lab. Starting as a performer, she progressed to script supervisor/editor before moving into producing and writing. Her experience spans film and high-end television for Apple TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Warner Bros, Sony, and Paramount. In 2024, Carley completed her first two feature films as producer, "Little Red" and "Amazing Grace." She currently has three short films on the festival circuit and is co-producing a high-end TV drama while developing two television and three feature projects.
