Logline

A young woman has a secret rendezvous with world-famous singer Leonard Cohen – but the venue that looks like an old school hotel from the age of analog turns out to be a dangerous VR labyrinth with no way out.

Synopsis

Alice (22) is about to meet Leonard Cohen (49) for the first time in an old chic hotel. However, when she wants to escape the situation and the hotel itself – we learn that this is not a real place in the 70s but a VR experience today. Alice’s not an ingenue either, but a 50-year-old feminist journalist who only came here to write a vicious review. But it's as if mysterious forces don't want her to get out - or even as if she was lured here for a purpose in the first place. A thrilling chase through the endless labyrinth begins, and she has no one to rely on but an algorithm-driven sex doll who seems to be stuck in a time capsule of outdated gender norms. The good news is, these two have a hell of a chemistry. But can an algorithm based on outdated macho ideals evolve into something that can support a truly mutual relationship? And can Alice find the courage to embrace this new sense of joy? If they fall in love, will it be their escape—or will they remain trapped in the hotel forever?
