Emi
Emi, 18, lives with his adoptive parents in the suburbs of Buenos Aires. A few months ago, he started working in a motorcycle workshop in a working-class neighborhood. Emi wants to know about his biological family and he spends his days putting together the puzzle of his story.
Emi talks to his adopted mother Mariana about a recurrent image he has: a woman sitting in her living room, surrounded by policemen. Mariana assures him that it’s a product of his imagination because when he was put up for adoption, he was a newborn. Mariana and Darío are Emi's parents and they live with him in the suburbs of Buenos Aires. Emi is 18 years old and he likes motorbikes. He started to work at Rodo’s motorcycle repair shop. There, he meets Sol, Rodo’s daughter, and they become friends. One day, Sol tells him that she has a brother who was given up for adoption as soon as he was born. Emi spends his days in silence, driving his motorbike on the highways in solitary trips, at night, thinking. An accident makes him break silence: he burns his hand with a welder while working at work. Rodo takes him to a hospital’s emergency room and accompanies him to his home. There, Emi`s secret reveals when Rodo and his parents meet.
