Ella and Friends
Second-grader Ella and her classmates race to stop a greedy businessman from destroying their forest, home to adorable otters, while scrambling to finish a school project that could hold them back a grade. This fun-filled family comedy is based on Timo Parvela’s beloved book series.
Fearless second-grader Ella and her quirky classmates—Tiina, Samppa, Tuukka, Pate, Hanna, and Pukari—find themselves racing against the clock when their strict principal threatens to hold them back unless they complete a crucial environmental science project. Led by their nature-loving teacher, the kids head into the forest for an unforgettable learning experience. Meanwhile, a greedy businessman, Father One, plots to turn the forest into a luxury resort with help from Hunter Korhonen, a shady nature photographer. Oblivious to the danger, the kids enjoy their adventure until they realize the forest—and a family of otters—are in jeopardy. Inspired by a mystical encounter with Mother Nature, Ella leads her friends in a daring mission to protect the otters and stop Father One’s plans. With clever traps and quick thinking, they outsmart the villains in a thrilling, fun-filled showdown that celebrates friendship, teamwork, and standing up for what’s right.
