Broken

A police woman returns with her daughter to her hometown, from which she always wanted to escape in the Patagonia, to take care of her dying mother. The murder of an old friend’s daughter will keep her in that place longer than expected. She will try to solve a case that seems to matter to no one.

Short bio of the director Facundo Escudero Salinas (Argentina – 1986):

After shooting various short films, in 2015 he directed the pilot for the series “INTO THE DARK” (Winner of the UN3 Audience Award) and in 2019 he was selected to participate in TALENTS BA (Berlinale). At the end of 2021 he directed his directorial debut, the thriller “BROKEN”. In mid-2022 he finished shooting his second feature film “TWO-FACED GOD” (LA COLECCIONISTA). Meanwhile, he is preparing to shoot the social horror film “VULTURES” in 2023.
