TV Beats Co-Financing Market, a strand of Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event looking for high-quality drama series projects with international sales and distribution potential, has announced its distinguished international jury. The final date to submit the project is 12 September 2023.
In 2023, the TV Beats Co-Financing market will take place for a third time and in the last two editions, the market has proudly presented 16 European drama series projects - from Portugal to Iceland and from UK to Ukraine.
TV Beats Co-Financing market is looking for teams, including a producer, a screenwriter and/or a director to attend the call. The applicants must fill in online application forms on the submission website, providing all the requested information and documents, by 12 September 2023 midnight (CEET).
Out of the submissions up to eight projects will be selected for pitching by an international jury including Content Editor at Beta Film Group Anna Rohde, Deputy Acquisitions Director at Mediawan Emmanuel Eckert and Executive Producer Isabelle Hulten, renowned for projects such as Billy the Kid, The Swarm, Who Shot Otto Mueller, and Rebus.
All the project presenters attending the market have the opportunity to organize meetings with financiers, partners and broadcasters.
Starting this year, TV Beats Co-Financing market has joined forces with Seriencamp Conference, meaning that one of the participants will join the competition straight from Seriencamp Story Exchange. One of the finalists of TV Beats Co-Financing market 2023 will be awarded an opportunity to participate in the next Seriencamp Story Exchange.

Emmanuel Eckert // Deputy Acquisition Director at Mediawan Rights
Emmanuel worked 15 years for M6 group as a buyer (in charge of the artistic selection for TV series and TV movies) and then as a producer. He developed pre-acquisitions deals and produced many domestic fictions as well as international coproductions (Highlander or XIII for NBC). In 2011 he became a producer, first within Newen Group then as an independent producer. He has been director of acquisitions for Lagardère Studio Distributions since April 2018 and is now working for Mediawan Rights, distribution arm of Mediawan, first production company in France.
**Isabelle Hulten **// Executive Producer
Boasting global film and TV expertise, Isabelle is renowned for projects such as Billy the Kid, The Swarm, Who Shot Otto Mueller, and Rebus. Her career journey spans from producing local TV series, to working with major international studios and production companies.
Anna Rohde // Content editor, Beta Film Group
Before joining Germany’s distribution and production house Beta Film Group as Content Editor with a strong focus on international coproductions, Anna studied dramaturgy, philosophy and literature at Munich's Theatre Academy and at the LMU, Ludwig Maximilian University Munich. Before her studies, she was an assistant director in many national and international TV and feature film projects.
