The second day of TV Beats Forum continues with insightful panel discussions and digs deep with several case studies. In addition, Tuesday’s programme includes engaging masterclasses and workshops.

The day kicks off at 10.00 (EET) in Nordic Hotel Forum Capella hall with Project Pitching: MIDPOINT Series Launch 2024 “Season Finale” presenting nine projects and three development executive trainees of the Series Launch 2024. The session will introduce exciting series in development and talents coming primarily from Central and Eastern Europe, which have gone through intense training in the past few months under the mentorship of renowned tutors and experts. At 10:45, one can join the masterclass “The Art of Developing Compelling Stories for a Broad International Audience“ by director, writer, and producer Per-Olav Sørensen. At the session, he shares his storytelling process, honed over years of experience creating hit series like Nobel, Quicksand, The Playlist, Home for Christmas, and more. In this masterclass, he reveals how he transforms ideas into gripping narratives, builds rich characters, and masterfully balances emotion with structure. Sign up here

TV Beats Forum continues its second day at 12.00 with a panel discussion Meeting of Minds 2 - How to survive 2025!, where European producers and other players on the audiovisual field share their survival strategies & techniques. The session is moderated by Johanna Nunna Karppinen. At 12.45 there is a keynote by Rémi Tereszkiewicz “How can AI improve TV series sales?”, that reveal the latest trends in TV series in Europe and how to improve the monetisation of TV series throughout their lifecycle, from development to catalogue, thanks to a new innovative set of tools and methodologies powered by exclusive market data insights and AI technologies.

As a sneak peak to the TV Beats Screening Days 19-20 November, TV Beats Forum programme includes insightful case studies of four outstanding drama series: Operation Valhalla, Operation Sabre and Mutiny, and a Brutally Honest Case Study: Developing and Financing Von Fock. One of the highlights of the day is a panel discussion “Insight on Developing Writers: European Writers Club and Case Studies” explaining the significance of bridging generations in today’s storytelling landscape, emphasizing why it’s more crucial than ever to create shared stories between generations and across formats.

All serious comedy writers are invited to join a session by Amanda Graham “7 mistakes comedy writers make”, explaining the seven how to make the scripts pop for the audience.

On Tuesday, the international continuing education programme Discovery Campus kicks off with a revolutionary, high-energy Networking Session (15.30 EET) by Amanda Graham, that covers the most common problems related to networking. The session is open to all Industry@ guests.

At 19.00 all Industry PRO and Student/Talent badge are welcome to join the TV Beats Award feat. Northern Lights Film Festival event, where the best projects of the co-financing market will be revealed.
