DISCOVERY CAMPUS BLACK ROOM PROGRAM PROJECT MANAGER

PÖFF Black Room is part of the Discovery Campus international training program dedicated to the art department of film. Black Room aims to provide an inspiring and practical program for eight international participants, allowing them to enhance their knowledge in film and costume art. Under the guidance of internationally recognized mentors, participants can learn new practical skills, meet other Discovery Campus participants, and expand their network. The responsibilities of the Black Room project manager include:

• Planning the Black Room program and schedule
• Collaborating with PÖFF's marketing and communication team to find up to eight participants from the region (including communication with various universities)
• Selecting and communicating with Black Room participants
• Finding mentors and negotiating agreements
• Collaborating with PÖFF's guest department to organize travel and accommodation for participants and mentors
• Integrating Black Room program with other Discovery Campus programs in collaboration with other project managers
• Timely submission of necessary materials (program, event descriptions, mentor information, participant information) to PÖFF's marketing and communication team
• Ensuring the event's success in collaboration with PÖFF's technical team
• Adhering to deadlines
• Monitoring the project budget
• Summarizing, compiling reports, and invoicing
• Seeking sponsors for Black Room and conducting negotiations

You are ideally suited for this position, if you have:

• Previous project management experience
• Excellent English language skills (other languages are a plus)
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Previous experience in film or theatre and an interest in the film industry

The Black Room project manager works on a project basis, and the work extends from May to December.
