After ten years working in the German cinema industry, Michel Rieck founded his own editorial platform specialising in film criticism, interviews and festival coverage in 2020. He regularly produces video interviews with national and international filmmakers and actors that have included Chloé Zhao, Richard Gere, Guy Ritchie, Jon M. Chu. In 2026, he served on the Film Critics Jury for documentary and feature films at the Max Ophüls Preis Film Festival.
