Mert is a dramaturg and script editor with extensive experience in major theatres in Turkey and the UK, including as a Script Reader for the National Theatre in London. For screen, he has led the development of three film projects at Slovak Pop Up 2025 and co-developed a series for the Netflix Adaptation Lab in Turkey. Alongside his work supporting writers and consulting for producers internationally, Mert teaches at the University of Cambridge, where he also received his PhD in dramaturgy.
