Matt Szymanowski is a Polish-American producer and director pioneering the intersection of cinema and artificial intelligence. A traditionally trained filmmaker and advertiser, he studied at the National Polish Film School in Łódź and has worked across major advertising agencies and esports organizations. He is currently in post-production on Captive Mind, a hybrid dystopian feature film shot with actors and now integrating cutting-edge AI technology, and directing A Human Future, a global documentary on the AI boom spanning California, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. A Sundance Lab finalist and Berlinale Talents alumnus, Matt is also the founder of Bear & Bot, an AI-driven studio producing films, campaigns, and educational initiatives. He has spoken at TEDx, Ludwigsburg Film Academy, and served as host of the AI Film Festival in Dubai and Amsterdam, advocating for a new, human-centered evolution of storytelling in the AI era.
