
Maros Pulscak is a Slovak film director based in Tallinn, Estonia. He studied Arts and Culture at Radboud University in the Netherlands, and completed a Master’s in directing at Baltic Film School. His short films Backstage Bardo (2023) and Fever Dream Jantien (2024) premiered at POFF Shorts in Tallinn, went on to screen at festivals such as In The Palace IFF and 2Annas Film Festival, and received awards at short film festivals across Europe. He recently finished his Slovak short film Guzzling Mouth, and alongside Decay of Strawberry Moon, he is developing his first feature film, Fragments of Humanity.
A versatile director, Maros creates compelling visual narratives across short films and music videos. Experienced in both Estonian and international settings, his work embraces postmodern ideas while engaging with urgent sociopolitical and culturally relevant themes.
