Maris Nõlvak studied acting at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and made her film debut as the female lead in Andres Maimik and Katrin Tegova’s feature film Cherry Tobacco (2014). The most recent feature film she participated in was Elmo Nüganen’s Melchior The Apothecary, The Ghost (2022). During her acting studies, she received the Voldemar Panso Award for her remarkable work at the Drama School. Since graduating she has been working at Tallinn City Theatre.
