Maria Fernanda Gonzales is an audiovisual storyteller trained at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP), with a passion for bringing compelling narratives to stage and screen. Winner of the Best National Playwriting Award (2021) from the British Theatre and the UK Embassy, and nominee for Best National Playwriting (2019) by the Luces del Comercio Awards. Recognized with the DAFO Economic Stimulus for Culture (2021) for feature film development.
As a screenwriter and playwright, she has honed her craft in film, television, and documentary at the International School of Film and TV (EICTV) in Cuba. Her works have been performed at the Amateur Artists Association Theatre and the British Theatre of Miraflores, blending cultural insight with strong, human-centered storytelling.
She is currently in pre-production on her feature films "Caídas del Cielo" and "Suiza", continuing to explore bold, cinematic stories that resonate both locally and internationally.
