Leana Jalukse is an Estonian writer and director whose debut feature Mother (2016) premiered in competition at Tribeca, won Best Feature at Kitzbühel and Best Estonian Feature at Tallinn Black Nights, and became Estonia's Academy Awards submission. She later created the international drama series Von Fock (2025). Her current slate includes Breaking the Ice, The Code of Thule, Behind the Iron Curtain and Angelmaker, all recognised by leading European development programmes and markets.
