Katrin Ruus is an Estonian film director and screenwriter. She co-directed Cherry Tobacco (2014) and The Man Who Looks Like Me (2017) with Andres Maimik. Her short film Mia & Liki (2021) won Best Short Film at the Estonian Film and Television Awards in 2022. A graduate of the Baltic Film and Media School, she is now working on her first solo feature, A Midnight Pilgrimage, co-written with Peeter Urbla and inspired by Peeter Sauter’s novella Pilgrimage, scheduled for release in 2027.
