Katharina Bergfeld is a Berlin-based producer with 15+ years in film. In 2026 she founded Blue Magpie Film. She won the German Film Award for Best Children's Film (CIRCUSBOY) and the Cannes Jury Prize (UN POETA, 2025). Her films have screened at Cannes, Berlinale, San Sebastián and Hot Docs. A Film University Babelsberg graduate and EAVE alumna, she lectures at Ludwigsburg and Babelsberg. Member of the German and European Film Academies.
