Karin Pennanen is a director working in both fiction and documentary. After having directed several award-winning short films she spent four years on her debut feature Days of Wonder (2025). It had its world premiere in November 2025 at PÖFF, where it was awarded as the best international documentary. After this, the film has won several prestigious awards at festivals like Tampere, Docpoint and Astra Film Festival. In 2026 Karin was appointed head of the jury for the doc@PÖFF competition.
