Julia Short has worked in international sales in acquisitions and marketing roles before delivering high-profile training courses for the Screen Institute in Vienna, and the highly regarded Inside Pictures programme. After staring in the industry in marketing and publicity in distribution, she set up Verve Pictures – a company focussed on films by first-time filmmakers such as Andrea Arnold and Yorgos Lathimos. Currently, Julia is the Course Director of the Film FastTrack producer programme.
