Julia Short is a UK‐based film marketing and distribution professional with over 27 years’ experience, who co-founded indie distributor Verve Pictures and has held senior roles at PolyGram, Redbus (now Lionsgate), and Film Four Distribution.

She now works as a consultant in various aspects of the film industry, directing content for different training courses across Europe, and advising producer teams, including work on the Venice award-winning ISH.
