Hubert Miłkowski is a Polish actor and a graduate of the National Film School in Łódź. His breakthrough came with a leading role in the Netflix crime series The Woods, followed by Operation Hyacinth, directed by multiple award-winning filmmaker Piotr Domalewski. He went on to lead the intimate indie drama Braty, earning a nomination for the Zbigniew Cybulski Award. In the Norwegian-German-Polish co-production Norwegian Dream, Miłkowski portrayed a young migrant navigating queer identity, social pressure and the search for belonging. His performance earned him the Best Actor award at the Iris Prize, alongside nominations at the Amanda Awards and the Off Camera International Festival of Independent Cinema. His recent and upcoming work includes the HBO series Women’s Hell, selected for the Montréal Séries Festival, and the short film Song of the Night, awarded at the Kraków Film Festival. He is also set to appear in two upcoming indie features, Exotic and Mroki, premiering at Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and Gdynia Film Festival respectively, as well as the Netflix rock-star biopic Less of a Stranger.
