Giovanni Labadessa is an award-winning Italian producer based in Los Angeles, working at the intersection of European and US independent cinema. Founder of Lumiere Lab, he has developed and produced a slate of acclaimed international co-productions, including the 2025 Oscar’s official entry for Latvia and 2 times EFA nominated Dog of God (Tribeca, Fantasia Sitges, SXSW Sidney). Giovanni has produced eleven feature films and numerous shorts, and he is also the founder of Not Film Fest.
