The Business of Film is an exploration of how money flows in and out of content production. The companies involved and understanding how they view a film or television production. The Business of Film breaks down key concepts in film financing (budget vs finance plan) as well as film sales (pre-sales, sales estimates) and explains how financiers, sales agents and distributors view film and television production and how their businesses work. We will be looking at graphs, powerpoints and excel sheets, so get ready – this is going to be intense!
