Eglė Vertelytė is a Lithuanian screenwriter and film director. Her debut feature Miracle premiered at TIFF and won four Silver Crane awards, including Best Film, Director and Screenplay. Her second feature, Tasty, premiered at Tallinn Black Nights. She wrote the screenplays for The 9th Step (dir. Irma Pužauskaitė) and Southern Chronicles (dir. Ignas Miškinis), a Lithuanian box-office hit that won the Silver Crane for Best Screenplay.
