David is a Barcelona based producer who combines his passion for animation, genre films and romantic comedies. With over 30 years in the business, he balances the creative freedom of the author with the financial resources and legal necessities. Among his more acclaimed films, the Netfllix chill El Hoyo / The Platform, Sundance darling The Virgin of the Quarry Lake or animations such as Hanna and the Monsters, Disneys' Dalia and the Red book or Juul.
Besides producing and coproducing internationally, David is a lecturer at universities, where he teaches about scriptwriting, directing, producing and managing marketing strategies for the international markets. His passion for teaching is also combined with his filmmaking skills as a director, where he's been present at major festivals with his films.
