Tallinnfilm Studios has launched an international tender for the design and construction of a film studio complex in Paljassaare, Tallinn. Scheduled for completion in 2028, the development will expand Estonia’s infrastructure for domestic and international productions.

The approximately 6,000-square-metre complex will include three film studios alongside production support and auxiliary facilities. Nearly 100 specialists have contributed to developing the concept, helping shape an environment designed around the practical requirements of contemporary filmmaking.

According to Tallinnfilm Studios director Joonas Tartu, the investment aims to attract more productions to Estonia while supporting collaboration between local and international film professionals.

The procurement process seeks a construction partner able to combine functionality, quality and cost-effectiveness. Companies have until 15 December 2026 to submit their bids.
