Latvian film companies presented their production capabilities to US studios, streaming platforms and content businesses during a September trade mission organised by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA).
The programme focused on attracting international shoots, developing co-productions and finding distribution partners. Participating companies offered services spanning film and television production, animation, locations, studio infrastructure, set construction and post-production.
The delegation included Nafta Films, Mistrus Media, Trickster Pictures, Baltic Pine Films, Cinevilla Films and other Latvian industry representatives.
The initiative positioned filmmaking as an export industry alongside its cultural contribution. According to LIAA, co-financing for 37 foreign film projects exceeded €9.97 million in 2025, with those projects generating €42.1 million in export revenues in Latvia.
For producers exploring Baltic partners, the mission highlighted the range of Latvian companies available for creative collaboration and production services.
