Lithuania’s film industry reached a new milestone in 2025, attracting €25.6 million in investments through its Film Tax Incentive scheme. The figure marks a 42% increase compared to 2024 and the highest result since the incentive was introduced in 2014.

A total of 108 productions benefited from the scheme, including national films, international co-productions, and foreign service projects. Foreign productions accounted for the largest share of funding, highlighting Lithuania’s growing appeal as a filming destination.

Beyond direct investment, international productions spent nearly €56 million in Lithuania, boosting local employment and sectors such as hospitality, catering, and services.

With over €133 million invested in film production since 2014, the incentive continues to strengthen Lithuania’s position as a competitive hub for global filmmaking.
