Blerina Hankollari studied European philosophy and has been part of the film industry since 2012. She served as a creative consultant on Gentian Koçi's documentary "Not a Carwash," which premiered at Hot Docs, and produced Koçi's first and second feature films, "Daybreak" (2017) and "A Cup of Coffee and New Shoes On" (2022), which were successful at festivals and selected as Albania's official entries to the Academy Awards in 2018 and 2023, respectively.

Recently, Blerina was selected for and participated in Producers on the Move, EFP, Cannes 2025.

Currently, Blerina is producing Koçi's third feature film, "Cold Sun," and developing Eneos Çarka's second feature-length documentary, "Beyond the Blue Mountains Is the Sea." She is the co-founder of Artalb Film Productions, a film production company based in Tirana, Albania. The company focuses on feature films, documentaries, and shorts with an authentic narrative and visual style.
