A graduate of ESCP Business School and Vancouver Film School, Bertrand began as a production assistant at The Coproduction Office (Breaking the Waves) and Artcam International (Simon Magus), before working as a production manager at Nada Productions. In 2016, he co-founded Les Films du Jour Prochain, producing several internationally acclaimed short narrative and documentary films, including The Taste of Ginger by Jean-Robert Thomann and Iskra by Adrian Replanski.
