Annika is an Estonian-born storyteller with a lust for memorable narrative. She has a BA degree in cinematography from Baltic Film, Media and Arts School. Led by strong instinct and love for curiosity, Annika greets all kinds of challenges that come with filmmaking - whether it be filming in snowstorms, mountains, blazing heat or in remote villages with language barriers. She has made several short films, documentaries & commercials but is also moving towards making feature films.
Experience in handling the camera and using visual language for purposeful storytelling. Digital and analog mediums. Have shot films on 8mm and 16mm. Loaded 16mm and 35mm. Have experience photographing 35mm film. Experience in editing and colour grading using DaVinci Resolve. Fast learner and very go-get-it mentality. Team player, solution-driven. Experience in travel, have shot projects abroad. Dance and music background, love shooting bodies in movement. Good listener. Love real stories.
