
Aleksandra Hulbój (born 10 July 1997 in Zakopane, Poland) is a screenwriter and director. She graduated from the National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź, specialising in Screenwriting, and from the Andrzej Wajda Film School in Warsaw, majoring in Directing. She also studied Experimental Film and Animation at the Szczecin Academy of Art.
She is the author of the screenplay for the award-winning short film "Dead Marriage," which received Best Student Film at the Palm Springs Festival 2023 and Best Short Film at the Oscar-qualifying Kraków Film Festival, among others. She also wrote the short film "Last Film Before the End of the World," screened at the New Horizons International Film Festival and the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. Aleksandra has participated in numerous screenwriting and directing courses and workshops. In 2021, she received an Honourable Mention for Best Direction in the international Papaya Young
Directors competition.
